Crystal of the month: Amazonite

Amazonite has the powerful ability to filter pollution of the physical and metaphysical kind including stress and electromagnetic emissions. It is also known to assist in manifesting universal love. I love the ability of this stone to balance masculine and feminine energies. It provides emotional support in alleviating worry and fear while dispelling aggravation and negative energy. It is also a member of the feldspar group of crystals like labradorite.

Along that same energy, amazonite facilitates travel over spiritual boundaries as it attunes to both the spiritual dimension and the province of chaos. Its energy allows one to access harmony and integrate and synthesize the duality between worlds. This stone empowers one to manifest your dreams and desires. It serves to magnify our intentions and as a stone that works with the throat chakra, those intentions must be spoken aloud.

This heart and throat focused crystal enhances communications concerning love and soothes all the chakras. It is both a truth-teller and a peacemaker. It provides support for those who are out of touch with their truth and need to communicate their own truth more effectively. Amazonite is an ideal stone for those needing to improve their boundaries: both internal (self-discipline) and external (personal space). It provides a balancing and preventive energy that is great for general health maintenance.

I purchased my first amazonite from The Enchanted Fae during a time that I was having extreme difficulty communicating my needs in my personal relationships. I had no idea the power of this crystal before I purchased it, it just called to me as crystals do.
