Dear there ,
Have you ever said yes while your gut screamed no? Or felt grief but pushed through your to-do list anyway? Or known the truth but didn’t act on it?
That is emotional dissonance when your head, heart, and body are speaking different languages. Like...
Your head says, “This is a great opportunity,” but your heart whispers, “I don’t feel safe here,” and your body tightens in resistance.
Your head says, “Just get through it,” but your heart aches for rest, and your body is showing signs of burnout.
Your head says, “You should be grateful,” but your heart is grieving what you lost, and your body feels numb.
Integration is the moment they all agree. When your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions finally exhale together.
You think, “I deserve rest.” You feel calm giving yourself permission. And you actually close the laptop and lie down.
You know, “This relationship isn’t aligned anymore.” You feel the grief and the relief. And you choose to step away with clarity.
You believe, “My voice matters.” You feel the nerves and the readiness. And you speak up without shrinking.
This is how it appears when you bring your selves into alignmen
Practice: Close your eyes.
Ask your mind: What do you believe about this?
Ask your body: How do you feel about this?
Ask your heart: What do you need right now?
Write the answers. Notice where alignment is missing and where it wants to return.
You are most grounded when all parts of you are moving in the same direction.
