Dear there ,
How often do you feel something and immediately reach for a solution? The moment sadness surfaces, you try to cheer up. When anger arrives, you rush to logic. When overwhelm hits, you go into planning mode.
But here’s the truth: not every feeling is asking to be fixed.
Some emotions are just asking to be witnessed. To be named. To be felt long enough that their message can rise.
This is emotional integration. Not bypassing. Not spiraling. But making space to digest your emotions like you would a sacred meal.
Practice: When a feeling arises, pause.
Name it out loud.*
Ask: What are you trying to tell me?
Breathe through it, and release the need to respond right away.
You don’t owe your feelings a fix. You owe them your attention.
