Wellness isn’t something you achieve and then check off. It’s a relationship — with your body, your emotions, your space, and your spirit. And like any relationship, it asks for tending.
This week, we lean into Saucha, the Niyama that speaks to clarity — not just in cleanliness of the body or surroundings, but of the mind and energy. When your space is cluttered, your breath shallow, or your thoughts swirling, rest becomes harder to reach. But when you begin clearing — gently, intentionally — you create room for rest to land.
Reflection Prompt: Where in my life do I need to clear space — physically, emotionally, mentally — to support deeper rest?
Practice Tip: Choose one small thing to clear this week. It might be your nightstand, your calendar, your inbox, or even a lingering emotional weight you’ve been holding.

This month I inadvertently scheduled the email series for Thursdays instead of Wednesdays. When I looked at the schedule, I thought to myself, what the heck? Why are these not on Wednesday? Everything happens for a reason and I looked up the energetics of Thursday, which is ruled by Jupiter, the planet that influences expansion and positivity. I have a lot of things going on that are pushing my boundaries in the best way, so I guess the universe knew before I did that the messages this month needed the amplification of this expansion energy.
One of those things includes my participation as a speaker at the Rest Revolution summit this month. Starting September 14 and ending on September 21, the Fall Equinox, I’m joining 12 other Rest Revolutionaries to share our diverse messages about rest and how it contributes to balance and a renewed sense of vitality in our lives.
