Hello there ,
As we move through Week 2 of The Elementa of My Becoming, the countdown to my 52nd birthday continues—not with a bang, but with a breath. This week is about honoring what we’ve survived—the visible and invisible, the monumental and the mundane. Because survival isn’t always loud.
Sometimes, it looks like holding it together in a grocery store line.
Sometimes, it’s washing your face and starting the Zoom meeting.
Sometimes, it’s choosing not to go numb again.
For me, one of my deepest survivals has been navigating divorce.
Not just the paperwork, but the identity unraveling. The kind of grief that goes unnoticed. The quiet regret of what you tolerated to survive. The haunting silence between what you showed and what you actually felt.
Divorce broke me open—but it also revealed what was sacred. My voice. My intuition. My capacity to rebuild.
So I want to ask you: What have you survived that no one knows about?
This isn’t about dredging up pain—it’s about reclaiming your strength.
It’s about seeing the quiet power of showing up anyway.
Journal prompt:
What have I survived that no one knows about?
Write it. Whisper it. Cry it. Dance it.
However you process—honor it.
Audio Resource: Use this track, Surviving & Witnessing Your Own Story to center yourself before or after journaling.
Every scar tells a story. Every inhale is proof you’re still here. Every exhale is a soft revolution.
You are already a masterpiece in motion.
With deep care, Galanda GalandaB, The Elementa Way
