Hello there ,
Yesterday marked the beginning of a 7-week journey toward my 52nd birthday. I’m calling this series The Elementa of My Becoming — a soulful celebration of the layered, luminous, and lived-in path that brings me to this new threshold.
Why 7? Because the number has always been sacred to me. Seven is the number of cycles, of wisdom, of completion. And for me, it's woven into everything:
Seven days in a week
Seven chakras
Seven colors in the rainbow
And yes, all of my names—including Elementa—each carry exactly seven letters
That’s not a coincidence. That’s rhythm. That’s resonance. That’s identity.
So over these next seven weeks, I’m not just counting down to a birthday. I’m honoring a pattern that lives within me. I’m inviting you to explore the layers of your own becoming.
This week, I want to begin where we often forget to look first: the body.
Your body remembers what your mind tries to manage. It holds the unmet grief, the laughter you never let all the way out, the tension in your jaw when you felt you couldn’t speak your truth.
But it also remembers the sway of joy. The moments your chest opened wide in awe. The times you finally exhaled after holding so much.
So here’s your invitation: Take 10 minutes to map what your body is holding.
Journal prompt:
Where in your body do you feel the most light, expansive, or open right now? What recent moment might have planted that feeling there?
Use it to explore where you feel weight, where you feel open, or where you need tending.
Mini Practice:
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Close your eyes and say gently: I honor what you've held for me.
Breathe into the space beneath your hands.
Next week, we’ll explore what you’ve already survived. But for now, honor the quiet work your body has done to carry you here.
With reverence, Galanda GalandaB, The Elementa Way
P.S. The content is coming in fast and hot this month and next. Thanks for your patience and acceptance of all I have to share!
