Hey yall hey!
It's the first weekend of May and the spring is springing! Flowers are blooming, it's raining randomly and events are coming in full steam. As your activity card begins to fill up, don't forget exercise! This doesn't mean that you must go to the gym, get a trainer or have anything super strenuous. However, this is the time to be intentional about getting your heart rate up. Why? Because research shows that regular exercise contributes to lower rates of mental illness and improves your emotional well-being and overall mental health.
Here are some activities that you can do to begin a consistent exercise journey:
Try picking an activity to do 3 times a week for 15 minutes. Give yourself grace as you move towards a consistent exercise practice. Remember, this can be a foundational activity for your mental wellness!
