It is nearly midnight before you are receiving this email because I procrastinated hoping to get the "perfect" topic to talk about. As I walk home from a wonderful event I hear the following as I listen to Worthy by Jada Pinkett Smith

I'm guilty of this far too often and I'm guessing you are too. However, I'm committing this year to make the effort to push the perfection gremlin aside and get things done. Many people often share with me that they try to meditate and they are "bad" at it. There is no good or bad with meditation it just "is." We have to be kind to ourselves when we are critical when we don't do because of perfection. Because of this, I'd like to share with you this loving-kindness meditation, also known as metta. It is a guided meditation where for about 15 minutes, you can give yourself kindness. You can download this meditation for free. I hope you find time, to consider, that done shows up in many different ways.
